I spent a few hours at Occupy Boston yesterday with a medium format camera. Nothing too great but I liked this portrait.
I set up at Brookford Farm on Sunday to grab portraits of folks visiting the annual Quarkfest there. Here are some of my favorites.
The Portsmouth Herald used my portrait of Candice from Brookford Farm for a piece they did on my wife, Cozette’s, documentary, in progress, “Brookford Almanac”.
My wife, Cozette, has spent close to a year filming at Brookford Farm: a first-generation, organic farm in Rollinsford, NH for her next documentary. She “hired” me to make portraits of the farmers and interns so we spent the afternoon grabbing folks and making my “Avedon” photos outside the barn. These are a few of my favorites from today. More to come.
ColoradoBIZ Magazine ran a photo of mine in two recent articles about Denver Mayor and gubernatorial candidate John Hickenlooper. Add two to the tear-sheets….’nice to see my work in print.
I have to make 15 portraits for a local government this week and wanted a simple, easily reproducible set-up that is modern and full of pop with not a whiff of “high school portrait”…I think I got it. Thanks to my very patient wife for being my model.
My landlords had an open house at the mill they renovated and I live in. I set up some lights and tried to photograph everyone… for fun…these are favorites.
