I spent a nice weekend in New York to photograph the 2011 Walter Cronkite Faith & Freedom Award for the Interfaith Alliance. The recipients were Jim Lehrer and Bishop Jane Dixon…plus Diane Rehm was there and was very nice.

I spent Sunday evening in New York photographing the 2010 Walter Cronkite Faith & Freedom Award for the Interfaith Alliance. This year’s recipient was MSNBC host and pundit Rachel Maddow…who was extremely nice…and extremely smart. Here is a low, available-light candid I managed to take in between many, many smile-for-the-camera frames .
